The true inspiration for the Talking Donkey Art Company came directly from nature. Just as God revealed His sovereignty to Balaam by speaking to him through his donkey, (Numbers 22:22-32), He also speaks to us through His creations.

God's fingerprints are seen all over our earth in many forms from the perfect rose to the awe-inspiring ocean or in an infant's gleeful smile. Our goal is to capture and depict the Eye of God.

With the onset of digital photography, and modern technology at our fingertips, we have found new ways to create and display beautiful images, while inspiring and helping others. One main objective is to create a more serene, relaxed atmosphere for patients in all realms of the medical industry.

• Edie Street is a native to Dallas and the mother of two children. She has traveled the world, photographing and observing art. She has found inspiration through her faith. Now her passion has found itself onto the surface of unique ceiling tile designs and stone.
   
• Kimber O'Malley, Edie's sister and business partner, is the mother of four. Although still licensed in Physical Therapy, she halted her practice in order to raise her four children. Having been in the medical industry for years, she understands the need for stress relief during traumatic, medical procedures.

As reminiscent of the past, the healthful benefits and positive stimulation generated from art are significant. Throughout history, art has generated not only, feeling and emotion but also therapeutic healing.

Alvar Aalto was a Finnish master of architecture, design and form, whose humanistic concern led to the unique development of the Paimio Sanatorium. He believed that "the horizontal human being", or the hospitalized patient, required a special, harmonious environment adapted just for them. Considering the patient's perception, he tailored to the necessity and benefit of having colors on the ceiling, as opposed to the vertical walls. This, he believed, would promote healing and wellness.

Likewise, the structural design of a church is unmistakably created to soothe, and strengthen the soul... From the embracing stained glass and ornamentation of a sanctuary to the magnificent affect of the Sistine Chapel and its unparalled fresco. The immensity and encompassing influence of Michelangelo's art embraces you from above. Its stories of Genesis, prophets and Jesus capture the heart and soul of its admirers in a way that no other mural could do.

Art has historically proven itself to be not only a decorator, but also an alleviator of pain, restorer of joy and a soother. Our purpose is to help you create a more serene environment by bringing the Eye of God to you.
